About Captain Billy Lau

Hi! I’m Captain Billy.

I am multilingual. Besides English, I’m fluent in Chinese(Cantonese) and some Spanish also. I won’t say French because I only took 2 courses in college and that was many moons ago.  

I was born in Hong Kong. (a former British Overseas National) 

I came to the United States in 1973 and am extremely proud to obtain my American citizenship shortly afterwards. 

I got my bachelors degree in Chemistry at the University of Wyoming and taught freshman Chemistry for 2 year during my post graduate studies at San Diego State University.

Of the 3 main areas I’ve fished in the U.S., I went trolling in Hawaii, fishing in SoCal but then I enjoy catching out of Homer the most.

As long as the weather cooperates, I will find them. Thank God!
